The 2010 Shadowing Day which took place on May 19th was a huge success. Approximately 75 students and over 50 businesses participated, and students had Shadowing Day experiences ranging from Rita's WaterIce, Sealstrip Corporation, The Boyertown Police, to Boyd & Karver Attorneys, Zuber Real Estate, Twin Turrets Inn and even State Representative David Kessler.
Attendants at the concluding dinner event included BASH Principal Brett Cooper, BASD Superintendent Dr. Dion Betts, State Repersentative David Kessler, Boyertown Mayor Maryanne Deery, Chief of Police Barry Leatherman, Tri County Area Chamber of Commerce President Tim Phelps as well as numerous local business leaders and professionals.

Next year's event is tentatively scheduled for May 2011.
The event is traditionally jointly sponsored by Berks Mont Business Association and Boyertown High School.
Its purpose is to bring together students and local business owners or professionals -
- To provide students with a meaningful, first hand look at a real world profession of interest to them
- and the possibility of building a relationship which can open the door for periodic advice or mentoring from someone employed in a specific field.
