The Boyertown LegionEtte Twirlers are an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 1970. The unit consists of boys & girls aged 4 thru 21. The LegionEttes are active in the community performing in local holiday parades, Relay For Life and other local events. The Legionettes are also members of Building A Better Boyertown and the BMBA. The group is under the direction of Brooke Patton.
The Passion
Baton twirling is a sport that is not generally recognized as one. It requires dedication, endurance, practice, and teamwork . A twirler can break a bone, strain a muscle, tear a ligament and endure various other injuries just as much as traditional sports like football or basketball.
